“Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!”. We all know that catchword, right? Ghostbuster movie series was a huge phenomenon when it has been appeared at the cinema industry. It modified like an ambulance by producers and provided a huge fan community to the movie.
2. Dom’s Charger / Fast & Furious
In cinema industry, probably Fast & Furious series was the best movie about automobile culture. Hot girls and exotic cars were the essentials for the movie. We saw a lot of vehicles throughout series but none of them left a mark on us like Charger. 1970 Dodge Charger was the star muscle car of the series. It was mainly used by Vin Diesel in numerous circumstances. The fans were so impressed that it created a huge interest on Chargers after years.
3. 1967 Shelby GT500 / Gone In 60 Seconds
The famous Shelby brand known as a perfect American muscle car for sure. However, after Gone In 60 Seconds movie, the popularity of the Shelby brand increased. The famous actor Nicolas Cage was driving a silver 1967 Shelby GT500 in the movie. The design and modifications on the GT500 created a big impact on muscle car lovers and movie lovers.
4. The V8 Interceptor / Mad Max
We all known it as The V8 Interceptor. However, true identity of the V8 Interceptor was 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe. Today, it is perfectly matched with the famous actor Mel Gibson. It was the true friend of Max in a post-apocalyptic world which is dangerous. Also, it was always the coolest looking car, despite all the tough world conditions in the movie.

This cute robot was a rusty 1977 Chevrolet Camaro in the movie. Nevertheless, this rusty look didn’t stop us about loving Bumblebee. 1977 Camaro was an iconic car in American muscle car world. When Transformers movie producers decided to choose Camaro, they made a very wise move. Throughout series we saw that Bumblebee upgrading itself into the newest Camaro models. By using Camaro, producers created a memorable character and a continuous prestige for Chevrolet Camaro.
6. Peugeot 406 / Taxi
In France, Peugeot brand was one of the most popular brands in country. But after the Taxi movie, this popularity doubled itself with a specific model which is 406. Lead actor Samy Naceri’s character Daniel was a taxi driver. He was using a modified Peugeot 406 as a taxi. However, this 406 was not a standard one. It was the nightmare of the police radars with his speed. It was also equipped with a lot of interesting stuff such as wings, snow pallets etc. In addition to that, the sportive design of the 406 attracted many of the young audience in that time.
7. 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 / Back to the Future
It is originally manufactured by the DeLorean Motors Company in early 80’s. It was too futuristic for it’s time. However, the pure steel body structure and aesthetic door design made it a perfect time machine for Back to the Future movie. The Mad Doctor Brown and the young Marty McFly built a time machine on this beautiful machine. Can you imagine that you can travel in time by reaching 88 miles in it?

It is designed by the British manufacturer Aston Martin in early 60’s. It was an upgraded version of the ancestor DB4. With the famous silver paint on it, DB5 was one of the most popular cars in cinema history.
9. 2006 Ford Mustang GT / Death Race
Frankenstein’s Monster was the most highlighted car of the modern Death Race. The famous series was starting with the Death Race 2000. The famous star Jason Statham played the Frankenstein character in 2008 version. It was a mysterious character, so producers created a monster for him. The steel armours and guns were perfectly matching with the Mustang’s wild spirit and iconic two stripe decals.

Can you imagine a smart car which helps you to take out enemies? By using its artificial intelligence, KITT was a perfect sidekick for the driver Michael Knight. KITT originally built on a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. The complete black design and the iconic red eye took the 1982 Firebird to the hall of fame. It is still one of the most interesting vehicles in cinema industry.
